Today I went to a Canberra Urban Sketching session

Today I went to a Canberra Urban Sketching session @usk_canberra. It was nice to sit for a couple of hours, observe the surroundings and try capture the movement of the city. I think I’ll try restrict myself to less colours next time, or maybe just reorganise my pencil case for better efficiency. People and dogs are the best fun to draw quickly! 🐶 👧🏻 #urbansketchers

Long time between posts! Social media hasn’t rea

Long time between posts! Social media hasn’t really been my jam lately, especially since it’s become so overwhelmingly video based. Anyhoo, here’s some doggy clip art I’ve been working on. I love to draw freehand with a real pencil and go digital later in my process. I’ve been doing a lot of this lately and am desperately missing watercolour and other mediums, but I know I’ll get to them soon enough. Creative life balance is tricky sometimes. 🌸✏️🎨👩‍🎨
