While slowly chipping away at a long term illustration project, I’ve also been spending a lot of time finding inspiration and researching different illustrators and their styles. At the top of my inspiration list this week is Isabelle Arsenault. Isabelle is an award wining illustrator who lives and works in Montréal, Canada.
I love the mood created by the lines and textures that Isabelle brings to her work with mediums such as pencil, charcoal, watercolour and gouache. Isabelle is well known particularly in Canada for her illustration work in books such as: Migrant, Virginia Wolf and Spork.
